On October 1st, Guangzhou Panyu International Senior Care and Recovery Center officially became the designated service organization, and it’s the unique Chinese-French company senior care service institution of Guangzhou “Long-term Care Insurance” . Long-term care insurance is currently trialed in 15 cities across the country, Guangzhou is the only pilot city in South China.

“Long-term insurance” provides funds or service guarantees in basic life care and related medical care activities for people with life-sufficiency (disability and dementia). These include subsidies for basic life care and medical care. For the elderly who stay in the nursing center or senior care center, a maximum of 3,700 yuan per person per month can be subsidized.

The policy support can help the senior care institutions to provide a high quality service continuously.
